NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY
Elementary School Teacher to teach general academic subjects to students at the elementary
school level. The teacher is responsible for preparing course objectives and study outlines
following the school’s curriculum guidelines and requirements. Develop and implement
comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Deliver engaging and
interactive lessons in core subjects, including literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation
and fosters respect. Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a
focused learning atmosphere. Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in
educational activities. Design, administer, and evaluate formative and summative assessments
to monitor student progress. Analyze assessment results and provide timely feedback to
students and parents to support academic growth. Provide targeted interventions and support
for struggling students. Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing
rules and procedures. Maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, and
guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and curricular events. Collaborate with fellow
teachers, specialists, and administration to enhance educational programs and student
outcomes. Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments. Contribute to the
development and refinement of curriculum materials and instructional resources. Organize and
participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events. Keep accurate records of student
attendance, grades, and other important documentation as required by school policies and
regulations.
#Minimum Requirements: (a) A Bachelor’s degree in, or with a concentration/specialization in,
Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, General Education, or other related
education fields.
(b) Have specialized knowledge in the teaching area by meeting at least one of the following
criteria: (i) Hold a bachelor's degree in the teaching specialty, (ii) Possess a valid teaching
license from any U.S. state, with an endorsement in the teaching specialty, (iii) Have a minimum
of 3 years of work experience in the teaching specialty, or (iv) Demonstrate an equivalent
professional standard that reflects expertise in the teaching area.
(c) Eligibility to obtain the state teaching license, shown by possessing a bachelor’s degree and
having specialized knowledge in the teaching area (see above).
