Applications due by September 30.

The Valley Quilters Guild of Palmer, Alaska is please to announce its annual grant information process.  We accept applications for the grant monies between August 1 and September 30.  Now is the time to look over the criteria and application so that you might be inspired to incorporate fiber arts into your plan for sometime this coming school year!

The Valley Quilters Guild award grants to Alaska teachers to assist in teaching a curriculum unit incorporating fiber arts.   The amount of the grant can range from $75 to $300, depending on the amount needed as specified by the teacher applicant.  The Guild may award more than one grant in a calendar year.  Teachers interested in applying for this grant must meet the criteria.

The Grant is usually awarded in late October or early November.  The Grant recipient must sign an agreement to show the students work to our guild either at our July meeting or with photos.  Failure to do this will require the grant recipient to pay back the original money to the Guild.

We look forward to hearing from you if you have any questions.  And get those applications in to us soon!!!
